Since being a child I have loved film, cinema and TV. The act of getting lost in a story on screen was one of my favourite things to do. Now I am on an amazing journey where I am getting to help the other people get lost in a story and truly believe I have the best job in the world.
I studied performing arts at Pendleton Sixth Form College and went on to study at the University of Central Lancashire. I then sought out training with the excellent Jude Vause-Walsh for training directed specifically to voice acting.
I love everything to do with voice acting whether it’s doing an advert or E-learning in my natural northern voice, or getting lost in a magical world as a mythical creature, or even just pretending to talk as my dog to my wife for fun (see pictured).
Whatever project I am working on I enjoy doing all of it and will always give you my 100%. One of my proudest achievements is that I succeeded in getting a voice over for the Co-op Group as my first ever job!
Located in Manchester, England, I work from home mostly in a purpose built vocal booth but I am happy to travel if required.
One of my life long goals is to voice over a cinema announcement that precedes the movie itself as they always signalled the start of the next cinematic adventure.
So if you’d like to work with me please feel free to get in touch and lets make something amazing together.
Cheers
Luke
